The Village Bistro provides an excellent menu of all home made food, prepared to the highest standard from quality, fresh ingredients. Jason Shaw has been the proprietor and Head Chef since February 2003. He strives to provide a gastronomic experience of the highest quality described as "modern British with hints of the Mediterranean and worldwide influences" and he regularly revises the menu to incorporate newly designed dishes.

Service is provided by friendly, welcoming staff in a warm and comfortable environment. A good selection of wines, spirits and lagers as well as tea and coffees are available.
